Core Values

The core values for the Folkhighschool is defined as the absolute, the transcendent, the eternally non changing level of existence. This level of existence permeate and create the whole universe, actually well described in the ancient texts of the Eddas and the Vedas, the most ancient shrines of the world, but also being discovered by modern physics and named ‘the total potential of natural law’.

At the most fundamental level of creation there is this never ending force of dynamic silence, both in man and in nature, and when experienced reveales unlimited creative intelligence, poetically described in the ancient texts and mathematically described in modern quantum physics.

 

THE ORGANIZING POWER OF SILENCE

When human consciousness has recovered its full capacity and range this inner silence is recocnized as an inexhaustible source of wisdom and vitality.

Full contact with this source is called enlightenment or self realization.

The core values of the Folk high School for the Development of Consciousness are the values which are expressed through a fully enlightened individual, physically, mentally and socially, a self realized human being.
